Your school and team could win $30,000 worth of sports equipment storage!
As with many teams, space is always a challenge as they struggle to provide adequately sized lockers, and room for the players, while also organizing and managing all the equipment and uniforms needed for the entire team. Not to mention their budget! In situations like this, Spacesaver’s high density moveable shelving enables equipment managers to store as much equipment in about half the space of static shelving, or twice as much equipment in the same space, without breaking their bank.
Spacesaver® is ready to “Rock UR Athletic Storage!” Coaches, students, faculty, school board, booster club, community members, gear up for the COOLEST contest of 2011.
Your school has a chance to win a brand new storage system for your sports equipment! All you have to do is submit a 100 word summary to Spacesaver of why your school needs a new athletic storage system; and include a photo to show your current athletic storage. The coolest part about this contest is that your students, peers, and community will vote for the winner! Submit your entries at www.rockurstorage.com , or visit this website to see who is in the lead or to vote!

Contest voting will run until midnight Central time on March 31st, 2011. The official winner will be announced on April 1st, 2011. The announcement will be made on Spacesaver’s Facebook page, Twitter page, and on the “Rock UR Athletic Storage” contest webpage.

Good Luck!

No. You don't need Indy's help, you need organization... organization that increases your efficiencies and gives back space desperately needed for other functions on a military base.
If ActivRAC were installed in the video example, Indy would have only had to search HALF of the warehouse with a compass or gun powder; thus, saving him valuable time to keep an evil-doer from using the Ark of the Covenant for her own greedy, self-serving purposes in hopes of world domination.
Back to reality.
Military warehouse storage is critical to a unit's ability to deploy efficiently. From Readiness Centers to maintenance hangers, SSA facilities to civil engineering. These areas, as well as many others, store pallets of equipment and supplies that our war fighters require for training and deployment.
When these supplies are poorly located or not consolidated, it means extra time for you and your employees hunting, gathering and inventorying. Strategically store and organize these materials close to their point-of-need or point-of-use so you can work more efficiently.
ActivRAC from Spacesaver allows for all of that. A mobilized storage system that doubles your storage capacity in the same floorprint as traditional static racking.
ActivRAC can even change as your missions change. Installed on existing concrete slabs, ActivRAC requires no costly structural footing or leveling. This simple design allows you to relocate the system if the function of the space is being allocated for another function other than storage.
Spacesaver understands that readiness is extremely important to our Armed Forces and we take helping achieve that objective very seriously. But don't take my word for it. I'll let Sergeant Rebecca Ray (pictured below) from the 4th BCT, 4th Infantry Division of the US Army explain her experience with this solution in this video.
The ActivRAC system in the video was installed at the 4th’s SSA Building at Fort Carson, Colorado. It mainly stores inserts for cargo containers. The containers reside just outside the building approximately 50 yards from the system. It allows her group to access the materials they need immediately without having to go outside in the elements and unlock (and lock) the containers each time materials are loaded or unloaded. Thus, saving valuable time and maintaining organization of the unit’s materials.
